The Ariadne system consists of three instances of Ariadne (AriadneAdmin, AriadneTime and Ariadne Penaly) that each connect to the Competition database. AriadneAdmin is for the overall event administration (event scheduling, entry processing and results publishing). AriadneTime processes the timing messages and the penalty scores. Ariadne Penalty collects the penalty points from wireless scoring terminals.
Additional devices are the Alge Timy time clock, and the Start and Finish controllers, which control the photo beams.
