System overview

The Ariadne system consists of two instances of Ariadne (AriadneAdmin and AriadneTime) that both connect to the Competition database. AriadneAdmin is for the overall event administration (event scheduling, entry processing and results publishing). AriadneTime processes the timing messages and the penalty scores. Ariadne Penalty terminal is available for penalty entry

Additional devices are the Timy time clock, and the Start and Finish controllers, which control the photo beams..
